7 Kitchen Gadgets you need to have in your kitchen!

If you like to cook then you probably find yourself slowly collecting different kitchen gadgets. Maybe it started with a fancy blender, or a crockpot, but then all of a sudden you find your kitchen cabinets bursting with all of these different appliances. Today I want to share with you my favorite kitchen gadgets that I use most often. So if you’re only going to invest in a few staple gadgets, then definitely make them be things on this list!

Crockpot

I absolutely love my Crockpot! It’s great to be able to just throw ingredients in the crockpot and then just walk away and let it do all of the hard work for me. I recently got a new Crockpot with a timer on it and it’s such a game changer! I love being able to set it for a certain duration and then have it automatically turn to the warm setting. I currently have this 6 Quart Crockpot.

Ninja Blender

If you like smoothies then you absolutely need a Ninja Blender. It blends quickly in a portable cup. Which means there is virtually zero clean-up! No more having to clean a messy blender before leaving in the morning. I have this personal Ninja Blender that comes with a few different size portable blender cups. They are also dishwasher safe!

Instant Pot

When Instant Pots first became popular I held out on buying one. Not only can they be a bit pricey, but they are also a large appliance to store. However I finally caved in and got one and I am in love! It looks things so quickly and are perfect for busy weeknights where you need to get dinner on the table fast. I love it to make easy shredded chicken in just minutes! All you need to do is throw in some chicken broth and chicken breasts and that’s it! I love

Immersion Blender

Immersion blenders are such an inexpensive gadget to have on hand. They are perfect to creating creamy soups, jams, sauces and more! There’s no need to spend a lot on an immersion blender. This is the inexpensive hand blender that I use and love.

Air Fryer

Air fryers are the new big thing right now, and for good reason! You can make healthier “fried” food items in a pinch! You can make potatoes, french fries, chicken, and even vegetables! I’ve even seen some recipes to make healthier donuts and bagels using an air fryer. The possibilities are endless!

Spiralizer

A spiralizer is another really inexpensive gadget that everybody should have on hand. I use mine all of the time to make zucchinni noodles, but it is also great for sweet potatoes, cucumber, cabbage, onion and more!

Digital Food Scale

Whether you’re an avid baker or just someone who likes to track their food intake, a digital food scale is a must! And not all food scales on the same. You’ll definitely want to make sure that you get one with a raised platform, so that you can still read the digital scale with plates or bowls on top. You’ll also want to make sure that it can easily switch between ounces, grams, lbs, and milliliters. I personally love my Farberware scale from Amazon.
