If you’re looking for a delicious way to get more protein, then look no further! These chocolate peanut butter protein balls combine two of my favorite things: chocolate and peanut butter!

Not only do they provide 28g of protein per serving, but they taste just like candy! The only problem will be restraining yourself from tripling the recipe and eating it all at once (I may have done that already…)

The first thing you need to do is assemble your ingredients. This doesn’t take long because all you need is 3 items: protein powder, peanut butter, and honey. I used About Time chocolate whey protein. This is my all-time favorite protein because of the all natural ingredients and delicious taste. You can use any protein that you have on hand, but make sure you like the taste of it (I feel like this is obvious, but I felt obligated to mention it…)

Mix together the protein powder, peanut butter, and honey in a bowl. It will be extremely dry, don’t panic! This is when you need the water. Very slowly add in the water. I recommend adding it 1 tsp at a time and thoroughly mixing in between. If you accidentally add too much water it will be too wet and won’t form into balls. You will end up with blobs. They will still taste good (I’ve made this mistake before!), they just won’t be as aesthetically pleasing 🙂

Divide your dough and roll into balls. I rolled mine into 5 small balls, but feel free to make one giant one, or eat it right out of the bowl (I won’t judge…). Then place in the fridge for about 30 minutes to harden. If you don’t eat them all in one sitting, then store them in the fridge so they don’t melt. But I mean who doesn’t eat them all in one sitting??
